When Everybody Talks and Nobody Listens:
Learning to Work Together with Your Family

FREE workshop for family caregivers

When a loved one falls ill or becomes incapacitated, family members often disagree about the best way to approach his or her care. Learning how to work together with family members is the focus of a FREE workshop sponsored by Family Caregiver Alliance and the Wellness Center/IHH/Mills Health Center. This workshop will teach participants to better understand the healthcare system, learn about family dynamics, hear about communication skills that encourage cooperation, and learn coping strategies and conflict resolution skills.

When: Thursday, May 26, 2005, 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Where: Wellness Center/Institute for Health & Healing/Mills Health Center
Hendrickson Auditorium, 100 S. San Mateo Dr., San Mateo

Registration: Preregistration is required. Call the Wellness Center at (650) 696-5600.

Family Caregiver Alliance supports and assists caregivers through education, research, services and advocacy. Part of California’s statewide system of nonprofit Caregiver Resource Centers, FCA offers information, education, publications, careplanning, legal/financial consultations and respite assistance.
