Eldercare Workforce Alliance

This is a coalition of 29 organizations representing older adults and the eldercare workforce, including family caregivers. Its mission is to address the critical shortage of health care providers and caregivers adequately prepared to meet the unique care needs of older adults. The Alliance was formed in direct response to a report released in the spring of 2008 by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) called Retooling for an Aging America: Building the Health Care Workforce. FCA is a member of the Alliance.
