Medicare Adult Day Care Services Act (2009)Federal bill would allow Medicare to cover adult day care services as a substitute for in-home care for those who are currently eligible for such services. The option would give Medicare recipients more care hours and more services, including physical and occupational therapies, meals and transportation provided by adult day centers, at an all-inclusive rate that is lower than many home health care services.
