WA- Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership (2011)

This bill establishes the brain injury strategic partnership advisory council. The council will develop a statewide plan to address the needs of individuals with traumatic brain injuries. This plan would address building provider capacity, provider training, and improving service coordination. The council will also design recommendations for using the money in the Traumatic Brain Injury Account to foster development of services. The council is also charged with ensuring that information and referral is available and that money in the Brain Injury Account is used to pay for programs that facilitate support groups.
