SD- Housing With Services for People with Dementia (2011)

This bill would require licensing of long-term care agencies that provide dementia care. The bill requires agencies to provide a written contract to perspective clients about services offered, cost of services, and other information. These types of agencies are also required to provide training in dementia care to direct care staff and their supervisors.
