FCA’s Board of Directors held its annual meeting to elect new members and the slate of officers for the upcoming fiscal year.

William J. Lynch, Ph.D., was elected President of the Board. Dr. Lynch, now retired, was formerly the Program Chief of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Palo Alto, and has also been involved with FCA for over two decades. Molly Buckley, a retired Account Executive from Levi Strauss & Co., was re-elected Vice President; Kathryn Lee, an Educational Therapist with the San Mateo County Office of Education, Secondary Education Services for Special Needs Students, was re-elected Secretary; and Sue Wong, Director of Administration & Finance at On Lok, Inc. was re-elected Treasurer.

The Board welcomed a new member, Kathy Murphy, Chief Operating Officer at Young and Rubicam/San Francisco,who was elected to a three-year term. Jean Coleman, R.N., M.S., N.P., Clinical Program Administrator at the University of California, Davis/Martinez Alzheimer’s Research Center, and Margaret Wallhagen, Ph.D., R.N., C.S., G.N.P., Associate Professor, Gerontology Program, School of Nursing, University of California, San Francisco, were re-elected to three-year terms.

Also continuing on the Board are Philip Alphonse, a business consultant; Claude Everhart, CEO of The Everhart Company; and Kevin Koppes, an Employee Benefits Marketing Analyst at ABD Insurance Services Financial.
