Family Caregiver Alliance is pleased to announce the start of a free, new online support group for individuals, family members, friends and professionals who are involved with Huntington's disease and other motor movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, Freidreich's Ataxia).

A group facilitator will actively participate and seek to keep discussions moving in a purposeful direction and focused on the wide range of HD/MD related issues. Participation is encouraged from Europe, Japan, Canada —wherever motor movement disorders exist in the world.

According to group facilitator Joan Rademacher, R.N., "An online support group provides an opportunity for all—affected persons, family members, caregivers—to interact with others in similar situations, no matter what the weather, time of day, or their level of fatigue may be." Joan has cared for a husband and four children with Huntington's.

This new FCA group is made possible by funding from the California Department of Mental Health.

To register for the group, visit www.caregiver.org/hd_online_intro.html.
