DECISIONS, DIRECTIONS AND REFLECTIONS:
If and When Do You Move Your Loved One to a
Long-term Care Facility?
When a family member suffers from a chronic and debilitating health condition, deciding if or when to move him into a long-term care facility can be the hardest and most heart-wrenching decision a caregiver makes.
A new free program from Family Caregiver Alliance will help families and caregivers understand how their feelings and beliefs can impact their family's decision; their options for long-term care; whom to involve in the decision-making; how to choose a care setting that matches their loved one's needs; and most important, how to make the best out of the move for those affected by the decision.
