Middle Class Opportunity Act (2007)

Federal bill would expand the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit to taxpayers who incur caregiving expenses for their parents or grandparents who do NOT live with them. Currently, a caregiver's mother or father must be living with them in order to claim the credit. The bill would also increase the child tax credit and amend the alternative minimum tax.
