CO - Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (2010)

Bill would allow all workers in the state to accrue paid sick days for personal illness, to care for a sick child or other family member, or to recover from domestic violence or sexual assault. Workers would accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum of 72 hours of paid sick leave a year. Businesses with fewer than 10 employees would not be required to provide more than 40 hours of paid sick leave a year.
