WY- Medicaid Reimbursement of Family Caregivers (2011)

This bill would allow family caregivers to be reimbursed for care provided to relatives with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries if the family caregiver does the caregiving through an LLC or corporation. Family caregivers are required to be certified by the department at the same level as non family caregivers. The bill also directs the state to apply for a Medicaid waiver in order to pay family members.
