Disabled Veteran Caregiver Housing Assistance Act (2011)

This bill would increase the amount of assistance authorized by the VA for permanent and total service-disabled veterans who are temporarily residing in housing owned by a family member. The current amount ($14,000) for the acquisition of housing with special features would be increased to $28,000. For adaptations of a current residence, the current amount ($2,000) would be increased to $5,000.
