Senior Navigation and Planning Act (2009)

Federal bill would provide Medicare and Medicaid coverage of advanced illness care management services. The bill would enhance counseling, support services and care management for patients and families coping with life-limiting illnesses; and it would provide for a public education campaign, clearinghouse and hotline focused on end-of-life issues.
