IL- Amending Older Adult Services Act (2011)

This bill amends the state's Older Americans Act and would require the IL Department on Aging to examine the cost of expanding older adult community-based services and to report these findings to the appropriations committee of both chambers by January 1, 2012. This bill also requires the dept. to develop alternative plans if compliance with the act is cost-prohibitive and to identify priority service areas.
