PA- Long-Term Care Assessors Training and Certification (2011)

This bill would require the Department of Aging to develop a training and certification program for people who conduct assessments of long-term care needs. Qualified assessors will have to use the same standardized screening instrument. The bill also requires the department to research charitable pharmaceutical programs throughout the U.S. and provide recommendations on how Pennsylvania can take advantage of these types of programs.
