HI - Family Leave Provisions and Data Collection (2009)

Bill would create a family leave data collection system to analyze and report family caregiving data for employees - including their use of and need for family leave benefits - and to create a basis for the development of a paid family leave system for family caregivers. Bill would also reconcile current state family leave laws with federal laws - extending unpaid family leave provisions to employees who work for employers with 50 or more employees (down from 100 employees).
