Family Fairness Act (2008)
Federal bill would amend the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) by eliminating the requirement that an employee have worked at least 1,250 hours in the previous 12-month period to be eligible for FMLA. The bill replaces that with a requirement that the employee have been employed for at least 12 months by a covered employer in order to be eligible (with no hours worked minimum).
