CA- Paid Sick Leave (2011)

This bill would allow employees in California to accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Employees could begin using accrued sick days after their 90th day of employment. Leave could be used for the diagnosis, care, or treatment of health conditions of the employee or an employee's family member or for leave related to domestic violence or sexual assault. This law would not apply to employees covered by collective bargaining agreements.
