Taking Care of ME!
A Workshop for Family Caregivers

FOCUS:   One of the greatest challenges of being a family caregiver is maintaining one's own physical and emotional health; too often caregivers neglect their needs. Participants will learn tools enabling them to reduce stress, change negative thinking and ask for the help they need from family, friends and physicians.

WHEN:   Friday, April 26, 2002
TIME:   9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
LOCATION:   Valley Memorial Hospital, Total Health Building Rooms 1, 2 and 3, 1015 Stanley Blvd., Livermore
COST:   Free
TO REGISTER:   Family Caregiver Alliance, (800) 445-8106

This workshop is funded in part by the Older Americans Act, administered locally by the Alameda County Area Agency on Aging. Note: This workshop will also be offered in Oakland and San Leandro on April 30 and May 2, respectively. Call (800) 445-8106 for information.
