CAP/DA is a Medicaid program that helps disabled adults remain living at home. Certain family members may be allowed to be hired and paid as the personal care provider. Services may include:

  • Adult day health
  • Personal care aide
  • Home modifications
  • Home delivered meals
  • Case management
  • Assistive technology
  • Personal emergency response 
  • Respite

-Must be a resident of North Carolina

-Must be an adult 18+ with a disability

-Must require nursing facility level of care

-Must be Medicaid eligible
