Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV): Older adults

Printer-friendly version

The DMV is required to investigate the self-reported health conditions, reports received from law enforcement, and medical professionals. These reports are used to determine if the driver needs a re-examination of driving skills or medical or psychological evaluation.

License renewal occurs every 5 years. Adults 65 or younger can renew their license online.
