Best Practices in Dementia- How To Make Life Worth Living?

Please join us at Pacific Gardens in Santa Clara on Tuesday, November 11th for a timely talk with Elizabeth Landsverk MD on “Best Practices in Dementia- How To Make Life Worth Living?”

Often in dementia care, caregivers are so busy with necessary tasks that they forget that quality of life for the patient is important too. What makes them happy? What activities, people and music do they love most? Are they able to do those activities, see those people and listen to the music they love? If not, why not? The definition of what makes life worth living is different for every person. How do you know what the definition is for your loved one? How can you help to make their life worth living? Dr. Landsverk will have many suggestions and illustrative patient stories to give you creative ideas for implementation, whether it is a family member or client, you can do much to positively influence a life.
