Coping with Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. Anxiety is our body’s natural response to stress. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it might (over time) become a medical disorder.
Anxiety disorders form a category of mental health diagnoses that lead to excessive feelings of worry, nervousness, fear, and restlessness that are strong enough to interfere with one’s daily activities.
We will be focusing on anxiety and not anxiety disorder. One of our employees from our mental health programs will be presenting.
