FCA presents a webinar on real-life strategies for coping with dementia. Mary Hulme will describe her “Three Laws for Living with Dementia” while highlighting the importance of humor, creativity and experimentation in staying connected to anyone suffering from this illogical and vexing disease.

Objective:

To provide a greater understanding of dementia to families and caregivers coping with this complex disease while sharing proven strategies for managing behavioral challenges.

Presenter: Mary Hulme, LCSW

Mary Hulme, founder of Moonstone Geriatrics, is a geriatric consultant, dementia specialist and healthcare advocate.  Her focus is on helping older people (and their families) as they transition through the later years of life.  In addition to running her practice, she is the mental health consultant for North and South of Market Adult Day Health Care as well as an advisor to Tech-Enhanced Life, a company focused on utilizing technology to improve quality of life for the aging population.
