Kathryn Humphres shares her unique perspective of the Department of Health Services. Her webinar will focus on the help available for senior health related costs. She draws from her 30 years of experience to provide instruction related to programs associated with Long Term Care, In Home Support, Assisted Living Waiver Program, etc.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Will provide advice for planning and navigating important programs that can minimize financial exposure associated with Senior, as well as Disability Health Care needs.
2. Will give instruction into the basics about programs that are essential to LTC planning.
3. To provide Senior Industry Professional and the Families they assist straight forward and accurate description of the DHS Regulations and planning tools that help establish eligibility.
4. To provide awareness of the fundamental elements that tend to be common in a Medi-Cal scenario including Medi-Cal Recovery.

Kathryn, a former Department of Health Services Medi-Cal Eligibility Worker, formed Medi-Cal Regulation Specialists in 1997. Since that time she has assisted thousands of families plan and apply for benefits that prevent the impoverishment of our seniors, especially at home spouses by successfully achieving application approval for benefits for DHS programs such as Long Term Care Assistance, In Home Support Services, Assisted Living Waiver Program, etc.

Kathryn has established herself throughout the state as one of the foremost experts in Medi-Cal Regulations.
