Are you caregiving for your partner who has early-stage Alzheimer’s disease? Receive up to $190 for participating in our study!
The UC Davis Social Relationships, Health, and Altruism Research (SHARE) Lab is seeking couples for a research study to understand empathy in caregiving. Our study hopes to identify better strategies to promote the well-being of both caregivers and persons with early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).
We are looking for caregivers and their spouses/partners who:
- Are age 60 and older
- Have received a diagnosis of mild or moderate AD
- Live at home
Our study involves:
- One 60-90 minute in-person interview with the couple
- One 10 min follow-up call in 6 months
- Optional parts: (a) hair sample, and (b) another 60 minute interview
Each couple will receive up to $190 if all study procedures are completed as compensation for participating.
If you are interested or have any questions about our study, please contact (530) 771-6317 or sharelab@ucdavis.edu to complete a quick screening to confirm eligibility.
