Family Caregivers of Relatives with Dementia: Health and Support Study

A research study being conducted with the University of Texas at Austin is seeking individuals who are primary at-home caregivers for a family member diagnosed with some form of dementia (moderate to advanced-stages). This diagnosis may be related to Alzheimer’s disease, or other forms of dementia, or Parkinson’s disease.

This project is led by Karen Schlag, a doctoral student in Communication Studies at UT. Participants completing an anonymous, online survey for this study will help researchers and medical professionals learn more about different support and communication needs caregivers in this situation may have.

Completing the study should take between 20-25 minutes. Participants who complete the survey will be emailed a $5 Amazon gift card.

To complete the study, please click on the link provided below. (You may also cut and paste the link into your browser.)

Once you have completed the study, please email Karen Schlag at kes11@utexas.edu to receive your $5 Amazon gift card. In that email, please include the date and time in which you completed the survey.

You can also email Ms. Schlag regarding any questions about the study you may have or if you are experiencing troubles accessing the link.

Thank you!
