The Taking Care of Us (TCU) Program (NCT04737759)

Are you caring for a spouse or partner with heart failure?

Researchers at Boston College are looking for volunteers to test two different support programs designed to help couples living with and managing heart failure.

The goal of both programs is to improve health and well-being and reduce the strain from managing heart failure for both you and your spouse/partner.

All couples will receive a resource binder with tips and strategies on managing heart failure and living healthier.

Study Activities include:

  • Assignment to either 3 or 7 one-hour sessions conducted by a trained interventionist (you can choose to do the sessions by video telehealth or phone)
  • A brief initial survey and two follow-up surveys
  • No in-person contact required
  • Compensation for couples is $100
