UCSF Movement and Mindfulness Research Study for Caregivers And Those With Memory Loss

UCSF researchers are testing an online program, called Moving Together, for people with cognitive decline and their care partners.

The program integrates physical, cognitive, and social activities that target muscle memory, mindfulness, and the ability to meaningfully connect with others which participants can do in the comfort of their own homes.

Studies show that reduced social isolation has a significant impact on both quality of life and actual healthcare outcomes.

The aim of this study is to help people maintain physical and cognitive function needed to remain independent and maintain social connections.
