Utah Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV): Older adults

The DMV is required to investigate the self-reported health conditions, reports received from law enforcement, and medical professionals. Also, information such as the “Functional Ability Evaluation” form and the “Visual Examination” can be requested by the DMV.

Licenses must be renewed every 5 years, and older adult drivers (age 64+) are required to present evidence of adequate vision.
