What are the Innovations in Alzheimer’s Caregiving Awards?
They are monetary awards to recognize organizations that are responding to a community need with a program or project that focuses primarily on family caregivers of adults with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. With a grant from The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) launched the first annual Rosalinde Gilbert Innovations in Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiving Legacy Awards program in 2008.
From 2018 to 2024, Bader Philanthropies, Inc. joined as a key funding partner, supporting the program’s expansion and the transition to a new name: Innovations in Alzheimer’s Caregiving Awards. In 2025, RRF Foundation for Aging became a co-funding partner alongside The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, helping to continue and enhance the program’s legacy of supporting excellence and innovation in Alzheimer’s caregiving.
