Three Years of Impact: FCA’s New Report Shows What’s Working for Caregivers

May 20, 2026

Family Caregiver Alliance’s 2022–2025 Impact Report documents meaningful progress in reaching caregivers with the right support at the right time.

Over three years, the FCA team:

  • Provided personalized support to 10,663 caregivers through CareNav® and our support lines.
  • Delivered 21,513 hours of one-on-one services to 2,845 families.
  • Completed 1,499 caregiver assessments and provided 1,601 hours of skills training.

These aren’t one-time touches — they represent sustained engagement that helps caregivers move from crisis to confidence.

Our reach extended far beyond the Bay Area.

  • Our website, caregiver.org, drew more than 1.2 million users annually across the U.S. and internationally.
  • 11 California Caregiver Resource Centers adopted CareNav® to coordinate services and reduce referral gaps statewide.

Equity remained central to the work: 41 translations of our resources, 16 multilingual classes, and culturally specific support groups for Black and LGBTQ+ caregivers reflect our commitment to serving caregivers as they are — not as one category.

Looking ahead, FCA is deepening partnerships with the goal of improving timeliness, closing rural gaps, expanding Medicare’s GUIDE program in the community, and deepening connections with health plans so families get coordinated care without extra handoffs.

Our new Impact Report shows what’s possible when caregivers are truly seen and supported. Dive into the report here.
