Stella Lazo is a Family Consultant at Family Caregiver Alliance. She received her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. As a Family Consultant, she conducts comprehensive assessments for family caregivers, connecting them with community resources and provides ongoing support and counseling. She leads psycho-educational classes for caregivers on topics including self-care and dealing with dementia behavior. She was born in Uruguay and joined FCA after working in New Jersey providing counseling to domestic violence survivors and doing advocacy for children and families.
