An Interview study seeks significant others who lost a loved one during the COVID-19 pandemic
Volunteers Needed
There is a new study about the experiences of significant others who lost a loved one during the COVID-19 pandemic, which could help care providers like doctors and counselors better understand and help their patients. For this study, you are invited to describe your experiences providing end-of-life care to your loved one during the Pandemic.
About the study:
One 30–60-minute interview that will be audio-recorded.
To protect your privacy, the published study will not share any names or details that identify you.
Volunteers must meet these requirements:
- 18 years old or older
- Provided primary care to an individual at the end of their life during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- Was a significant other (e.g., spouse, partner, son, daughter, or close family member, or chosen family) of the patient.
This interview is part of the doctoral study for Mari Tirado, a Ph.D.
student at Walden University. Interviews will take place starting in January, 2026.
