Are you a current or former caregiver for someone with dementia or memory loss?

We are asking you to participate in a research study titled: Dementia Caregivers’ Relationship-Defining Narratives.

The purpose of this study is to examine the ways that caregivers of people with dementia discuss their relationship with the people in their care. Through our research, we hope to identify factors that are linked with caregivers’ health and well-being.

We will ask you to describe 2 significant memories from your relationship with the care recipients during an interview over Zoom. Additionally, you will complete an online survey about your demographics, health, well-being, relationship, caregiving history, and characteristics of the care recipient.

The study takes about one hour to complete and will be conducted online via Zoom.

You will be compensated $50 for completing the study.

Interested individuals will be asked to complete a 5-minute telephone screening call to assess eligibility and schedule the one-hour online visit.

The principal investigator of this study is Dr. Jenna Wells in the REACH Lab at Cornell University. To get more information about the study, please contact us at reachlab@cornell.edu.
