Are You Caring for a Child or Adult with a Health Condition or Disability?
Researchers at Syracuse University are seeking participants who are:
- 18 or older
- Providing regular care or assistance to a family member or friend with a health problem or disability
- Caring for a child (under 18) with medical or developmental needs, or for an adult or older adult living with a chronic condition, serious illness, mental health condition, or disability
Our study is trying to understand what caregiving is like day to day, how it affects caregivers’ well-being, and what kinds of support — including newer tools and services — would be most helpful. We especially hope to hear from parents and family members caring for children with medical or developmental needs, a group whose experiences are often overlooked. We hope this information will lead to better resources and programs for caregivers.
The survey is done online, is completely anonymous, and takes about 15-20 minutes. Participation is voluntary, and you may skip any question or stop at any time. As a thank-you, participants can enter a drawing for one of fifty $30 Amazon gift cards.
