Are You the Primary Caregiver of a Parent with Lewy Body Dementia?

 If so, you may be eligible to participate in this research study. My name is Tina Long and I am conducting research for a Doctor of Education degree at Liberty University. The purpose of my research is to understand the caregiving experience of adult children of a parent with Lewy body dementia.

Eligibility:

You must be 25 years or age or older
The primary caregiver of a parent with Lewy Body Dementia
You have been providing in-home care for that parent for a minimum of six months, assisting in the activities of daily life and the instrumental activities of daily life

Participants:

Will be asked to take part in a one-on-one, audio-recorded and video-recorded interview, either in-person OR virtually (60-75 min)
Create a collage or cognitive representation (drawing – 15-30 min)
Complete two weekly journal prompts (15-30 min)
Review the themes developed by the researcher to confirm agreement – should take 2.25 hours to complete

Consent information will be emailed to you one week before the interview. After the data collection procedures, participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
