The Connection in Caregivers Project
The Connection in Caregivers Project is seeking participants who are:
- 50 or older
- Providing daily care/support to a relative/friend/loved one with dementia
- Experiencing stress due to caregiving and sometimes feeling left out/isolated/lacking companionship
Our study is trying to discover how social relationships impact feelings of stress in both positive and negative ways for those caring for somebody with dementia. We hope this information will lead to better programs for caregivers.
The study is done remotely and involves 2 interviews (phone or zoom) and online surveys. Subjects are paid up to $250 for completing assessments (payment made by check). To maintain the integrity of the study, subjects will not be compensation if suspected of fraudulent behavior.
