Improving Practice: Working with Diverse Family Caregivers
Family Caregiver Alliance presents the course “Improving Practice: Working with Diverse Family Caregivers.” Designed for professionals who work with and support family caregivers. This course explores the challenges of diverse family caregivers and discusses practice changes to better support them.
Developed by FCA, the four-hour online course is tailored to all professionals who work with family caregivers and specifically for social workers.
The series includes 3 modules, 17 lessons, 21 videos, 3 post tests, 4 case studies, as well as downloadable resources and reference documents.
The modules are:
- Introduction to Diverse Family Caregivers and Applying Cultural Humility to Practice
- The Lived Experiences of Diverse Family Caregivers
- Practice Considerations
