Adult Day Health Care (ADHC)

In California, over 300 ADHCs are licensed by the state to operate community-based day health care programs for those at risk of being placed in a nursing home. They provide a variety of health, therapeutic, and social services including:
– Medical services
– Nursing services
– Physical, occupational and speech therapy
– Psychiatric and psychological services
