Home and Community Based Waiver – Brain Injury

Government program assists low-income individuals with brain injury who require nursing level of care remain in the community by helping to pay for home and community based services including:
– Adult day care
– Specialized medical equipment and supplies
– Counseling
– Home modifications
– Transportation
– In-home care
– Respite
– Personalized emergency response system

*Consumer Directed Attendant Support (CDAS) is an option of the Home and Community Based Waiver program which allows care receivers to choose and hire their own service provider including a relative or friend to provide the care they need.
