Tennessee Area Agencies on Aging and Disability

Area Agencies on Aging and Disability (AAADs) plan and provide programs and services for older Tennesseans, as well as those with disabilities.

Services offered may include information & assistance, nutrition programs, legal assistance, transportation, family caregiver support program, etc.

I&A specialists, at the local Area Agency on Aging and Disability help a caller determine what they need, then find the best way to get help. These specialists are trained to establish whether a caller may be eligible for certain programs, to help in crisis situations, and to provide extra help when needed.
