Alzheimer’s Disease
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a degenerative dementia marked by progressive, mental deterioration that causes abnormal changes in the brain mainly affecting memory, thinking and behavior, but sometimes leading to personality changes as well. Symptoms usually develop slowly and worsen over time, leading to loss of reasoning and decision-making abilities and language, making daily living activities impossible without help.
