Paid Family Leave in California: A Webinar
November 18, 2022
Did you know you can take time away from work to care for a seriously ill family member and get paid? California’s Paid Family Leave program provides 60-70% of your normal income, up to a cap, while you take leave from work to care for your loved one with a serious health condition. Separate laws may require your employer to return you to the same position at the end of your leave, and continue your health insurance during your leave.
But who counts as a family member? What counts as a serious illness? When and how do I apply for Paid Family Leave?
Join the Family Caregiver Alliance and Legal Aid at Work on November 30, 2022 from 11 a.m. to noon (Pacific Time) for our webinar: The Ins & Outs of Paid Family Leave and Related Rights For Family Caregivers.
We will discuss Paid Family Leave, including how to apply, how to protect your job, how to take leave in smaller chunks (intermittently) rather than all at once, and more.
